Cấu trúc Although In spite of despite

Although/ In spite of/ Despite trong Tiếng Anh nó đều mang một ý nghĩa là mặc dù. Các liên từ này có vai trò thể hiện sự tương phản ý nghĩa trong câu, nó có vị trí đứng ở đầu mệnh đề hay giữa câu.

Nếu đặt ở vị trí đầu câu, sau mệnh đề chứa Although/ In spite of/ Despite bắt buộc phải thêm dấu phẩy để ngăn cách hai mệnh đề.

Cụ thể cấu trúc như sau:

                                                 Although + S + V, S + V.

➔ Despite/In spite of + Noun/ Noun Phrase/ Ving, S + V.
